Glass Bead Necklace by Carolyn Rordam
This one-of-a-kind necklace is a quiet statement of beauty and intention. The glass beads were formed one at a time by Carolyn Rordam of Sweet Beet Market, using a custom-built furnace at the Joppaglass Studio in Warner, NH. The glass itself was made from raw materials on site, following a process developed by glass artist Dudley Giberson.
Drawing inspiration from ancient bead-making traditions, this necklace carries both history and artistry in its delicate form. A deeply local and meaningful piece.
